hel­luva time try­ing to choose between NYC and LA.

I’m quite bored. Yes I am. I am on spare right now… but I have.. noth­ing to do =_= so I went to 711 and the most expen­sive chips ever. LOL Damn them for not putting on price tags on their items. geeze. oh well.. this old man started talk­ing to me and said that smok­ing is bad. That it kill us slowly. But what set him off was when a lady bought smokes for her dad :) … she was really bitchy about it >.> .. Geeze. Bitchy peo­ple. I’ve noth­ing to do right now.. :( eat­ing candy? yaaa? I GOT MY DORITOS. Finally mua­haha… it’s been a while. I’ve been crav­ing them for the past month(s). Buu­u­uut yeap.

Woot-woot! The best news ever in a very long time :)

Yes­ter­day after­noon, I got off work expe­ri­ence early so I went out w/ Carol & Jess for din­ner @ Green Basil. It’s a tiny restau­rant directly across from Metro­town, beside Sushi Gar­den. Ini­tially we were going to go for sushi, but noticed Green Basil. Jess and Carol wanted to go to Thai House, but we real­ized that it was going under ren­o­va­tions o.o oing..? haha. Anyways..

My thought on Green Basil

• The male wait­ers aren’t exactly the most polite.
• Food came @ a decent speed.
• Free soda refills (always a plus) for $2.75
• Free soda refills that aren’t watered down!
• Dishes are a tad bit over­priced ($7 for 4 pieces of springrolls?!? O_O) click for menu
• They have an awe­somely designed web­site.. well at least the lay­out is pretty and professional
• Inte­rior is as well a pol­ished look — my spoon was dirty though.
• Carol and I shared a dish of Phat thai and it left our throats burn­ing like a mofo. LOL.. it was one pep­per. Though, in their defense, we for­got to tell the waiter to go easy on the spice.
• When we asked the  waiter to split the bill he looked quite pissed. XD
• I gave him $1.50 tips, which should explain a lot.

So for the past week I have been at work expe­ri­ence, a 9 to 5 thing. It takes me an hour to get to Kit­slano (where my practicum takes place).. and I wake up at the same time as I do for school, although I start at 9 instead of 8:30. I take the 9UBC bus because I’d rather have it rock me to sleep than be squished in with another bil­lion other UBC stu­dents. But yes. By the time I arrive at Blenheim street, I’m half awake.

On Fri­day I was on the Sky­train.. and..

Lady: *taps girl on shoul­der* Could you like take off your knapsack??

Girl: *looks con­fused* knapsack?

– she obvi­ously did not know what a knap­sack is, and prob­a­bly did not under­stand Eng­lish well–

Girl: *turns around*

Lady, very rudely: Well I guess not then.

GEEZE. SO RUDE. Iron­i­cally she took up even more space because she stuck her news­pa­per right in front of her­self. psh.
