My Mumma doesn’t let me out of the house during the summer unless I have sunscreen on. I’ve grown tired of oily Coppertone prodcuts, so I went and got the Neutrogena ultrasheer, as it had awesome reviews. I’ve only used it twice so far but so far so good! I’m still a little bit iffy on the oily part.. IS still slightly oily, but much better as compared to other brands. Furthermore this one is made only for the face

After returning toVancouver, my skin has been drying up like Las Vegas. I finally went to the doctor to see what was up, and he explained to me it may be because of the water from the mountains — minerals and chlorine being too harsh on my skin. So in the end he gave me a bottle of Spectro Eczema Care for Kids. I was a little odded out by the Eczema part, but he assured me that eczema only means dry skin. I’ve been using it for the past week.. and VOILA.. no more dry skin! However, after this wash I have been using Clinique’s Moisture Surge.

The Vancouver water part made a lot of sense for me because I had decided I wouldn’t use any products besides water for my face.. I’m really skeptical about all the skin radiating, whitening, tanning,  and chemically heavy products.

For the past few months, my skin has been driving me crazy — pimples popping up randomly. Usually the norm for my skin is clear. After I began using the Clinique foaming cleanser.. I noticed that was when pimples started forming. SO.. I decided to try the Clean and Clear Persa-Gel, which was sitting on my bathroom counter because my brother uses it. At first.. I was highly doubtful it would work, but after a few applications I noticed that my pimples started to disappear. Apparently this product speeds up the pimple process, so it disappears faster. The downside to this is that it’s quite high in concentration benzoyl peroxide, so it does dry up the skin around the area you’ve applied to — MOISTURIZE! If your skin is super sensitive, I would suggest try first with a light application. Another plus to this is that it has no stinky scent! harhar.. I’m not positive if this product will be good for longterm, but for now it works :D. Price — ~$7.00

“It’s time to make acne shake in its boots. This #1 pharmacist-recommended acne treatment contains maximum strength Benzoyl Peroxide acne medication. The unique formula goes to work immediately, releasing the medicine deep into the pores where pimples start.” clean&clear

School has been alright for me lately.. I have no homework for the whole week HUZZAH!! but I guess I shouldn’t curse myself.. because according to my calculations.. sketchbook assignments should be due within the next week.. and I have completed none :3 hehee.

I have a space officially reserved for me at Otis now! I don’t have to worry about sleeping on the streets of Los Angeles. I just hope that my roommates will be good people. I have to start purchasing items for my dorm room.. like bed sheets.. pots.. pans.. that junk –_– puh.

I felt like doing a review on this lip gloss because .. well.. usually because I love it.. and I love this lipgloss. I went to sears last Friday because they were having the Clinique gift with purchase promo, and I ended up spending over $80 at the counter.. so I actually got both the gift bags they had: eyes / lips. Anyway.. I decided to try it in the morning because my lips felt dry.. so I swiped it on, and I was impressed by the colour + the ‘look’. Plus, it’s not all that sticky. However, I can’t say that it lasts very long.. after eating there’s still a little bit of stickiness, but after drinking water, etc, it’s gone. As for the price, I’d say not all that shining. $17.50CAD for a baby tube (not the size shown in the picture — mine is a sample size).

ck-one-bottle-speaker-edition-hi-res-on-white CK One by Calvin Klein — Review
    rate4.5
So I officially love this scent. It smells super fresh and not too overpowering. It kinda reminds me of fresh laundry, but not so much that you’re sniffing Downy. Furthermore, unlike other fragrances, it lasts the whole day :) .. and longer haha. If you purchase the limited edition (as shown on the left), you get the speaker (bottom section). It’s pretty interesting, but I must admit I have not much use for it, as it runs on batteries.
Price for limited edition: ~$60 /100mL
    Price for regular: ~$30

    Product Description:

“Ck one is a naturally clean, pure, and contemporary fragrance with a refreshingly new point of view. This light, relaxed scent is meant to be used lavishly. ck one Eau de Toilette can literally be splashed all over the body. It is an intimate fragrance, one that you need to be near to smell.” Amazon.com
