I’m still settling in. I love my apartment and I’ve been just relaxing lately, hanging out and meeting up with classmates from last school year. Jessica is here visiting for the week so that should be quite fun!
Yesterday I spent the day out.. we went grocery shopping at Sprouts, and then got stuck in stupid LA traffic coming home. LA traffic just pisses me off.. with their 6 lanes. Ugh! After that we went to Fox hills mall so that Jess can shop around at all the American retailers. Apparently Taboo was at the mall, promoting his new foot wear(s)? no clue. Caroline and Jess wanted to meet him, but I wasn’t that interested, so I went to H&M LOL. It was meant to be, because I ended up getting a pair of sunglasses and bikini bottom for $2 :O!!!!
There were a bunch of bboys that were part of the promo team, I assume.. which attracted a lot of attention :).
We’ve been taking advantage of the apartment grills this past week :) woohoo!Life isn’t very interesting right now. I’m just excited for school to start so I don’t feel like a lazy ass. However, I’ve been going to the gym just about everyday.. yay.

Ah.. :( It’s my last full day in Vancouver, after 4 months of summer. It’s a beautiful day!! No one is home to spend time with me, but I might go out later to say last good byes. I’ve partially done packing but there are so many little things I don’t know where to put everything!! :( It’s making me go crazyy lol.
Yesterday I dedicated the whole day to Prettyfuls. I went out with Jess in the noon to find a birthday gift for her brother, downtown. Afterwards we met up with Isa at Collingwood to do the crossword.. LOL hehe :D. Then we went up to Starbucks, because Elaine was working, where we also met up with Carol. We chit chatted a bit and updated each other on the latest news while doing the crossword :).
We met up with the rest of the group and proceeded downtown, where I had reserved a 17 person table at Ebisu. Overall it was a wonderful night seeing everyone, but I also missed those that weren’t able to attend. *tear*
The night ended up with meteor shower watching. T’was beautiful.
Thank-You everyone for attending, and Patty for the meal <3.

Almost school time for me! A couple of weeks until class starts, but I’ll be leaving on Saturday for my road trip with Caroline, back to school. I don’t even want to think about going back, despite how excited I am.
Chris gave me a call a couple of days ago which really cheered me up…! Haha. It’s nice knowing there’s at least people to look forward to when you have no other family/friends away from home :). I have 5/6 classes with him next semester so we might drive each other a little insane.. :P
I’ve been just running around lately to get all the little stuff I need before going for the school year: food, supplies, money (haha..), appliances, tables, etc. I’ve also been eating out.. WAY too much to the point where I feel disgusted.. I’m definitely going to hit the gym right away when I get back to LA!! Such a fatty :)
Anyways, yesterday I went out with my mumma and grandma to Richmond so I could get some more contacts. Since I won’t be seeing my grandma for a while I wanted to have dim sum with her. After I got home, I went go-karting with Des, Lisa, and Tommy at TBC in Richmond (why am I ALWAYS in Richmond??). Even though I was last.….….… it was still fun!! hahaha. We ended up eating at Ajisen Ramen.
I cut my hair off. I miss my long hair.

You know what sucks? When you yawn so much that you start looking like you’re crying. Yeah.
Yesterday Leanh wanted to get together so I spent the afternoon with her, Isa, and Jess. We wanted to go to the beach but the weather just wasn’t cutting it.. so we ended up going for La Casa Gelato. After that we went to Metrotown so Le could get some items, but she ended up getting a REALLY cute dress at F21 :)!

On Thursday, 5th, Isa and I walked to Metrotown again so she can pick up her libarary book (yoohoo!) It was so HOT.. above average I have to say lol. Anyways, it was an interesting walk because we always attract unwanted attention from sleazy men. While walking back, along Kingsway, a guy in his late 20’s, early 30’s approached us and asked for the directions to Joyce station, so we direct him. Oddly enough we ended up walking side by side with him for a good whole BLOCK. He asked us which schools we went to .. and he proceeded by telling us that he moved to Vancouver 2 years ago from Holland. LMAO.… sooo Isa and I attempted to go to Starbucks for shelter. Before entering he stopped us and introduced himself.. then whipped out the cellphone. Let’s just say in the end that he didn’t get any digits.

The evening ended with some frisbee playing at Collingwood park and a movie at Isa’s house with Mandy in company as well. <3
