Boo.. no internet, thus no blogging, but I’ve been going crazy unpacking and getting the apartment ready. :)
bbqing at caro’s house, saying buy to the Fullerton residence, pictochatting with filip (on the highway), laying by the pool.
I started out on Saturday morning ‚with my parents, to Oregon — where Caroline (my roomie) lives. We spent the night in Tigard and they dropped me off the next morning @ Caro’s house in Beaverton.
There, I spent a night and we left for Sacramento the next morning. We then spent a night in Sacramento and proceeded the rest of the trip to LA! hehe. Our aparment is superrrr cute ! I’m so glad we are out of Otis’s student housing.
Anyways, the only thing we still haven’t figured out is the internet.. :(

My house is too big. My parents want to downsize into a smaller house, and a nicer area. With me gone for most of the year and my brother usually out at school or work, the house is usually either empty or only my mumma at home. Right now my house has 8 rooms, 6 baths = way too much for a 4 person family. We only live upstairs, and the downstairs suites are usually rented out, but my parents are getting sick of dealing with douchebag tenants. I’m excited! I want to move :)
Meesh and I during drawing and comp class. We left the classroom to take pictures for our final classroom, and got bored. :)
Today I went on a run with Yiwan. I was craving to run for the last 24 hours, so we ran around Collingwood park. Honestly, I love the treadmill and can’t stand running outside. I don’t know why, but I can’t last very long LOL. This picture was from one time I went to the gym way too exhausted already, and ended up falling asleep on the dance studio area (apartment). hehe.… :)It’s been 10 years, yesterday. It’s amazing how time flies, yet the memory still lives in me like it was.. a blink ago. I can always remember because my grandpa went into the hospital on my birthday, and left the world only ten days later. I was the only one in the family that wasn’t present at his bedside and it makes me so angry at myself.

Apartment hunting!
not really. We’ve already decided! hah! Where? Here!
My apartment is the best of the best in Westchester — you literally cannot find any other better than it. Although the rent is on the pricey side, I would much rather live here than in the shady apartment that’s across the street from the school. It’s not a certain decision right now (waiting for Theresa’s parents approval).. but may go with a 2 bed, 2 bath 952sq ft suite, going for $2184/month. It’s actually a horrendous amount of rent, but when split by 3, it’s about $800 — feasible for my parents as of now.
If we are able to get the apartment secured by the 4th, we can move our stuff in and it will be available throughout the summer — road trip to L.A! :)
I’ve been working on my creative process project lately. It’s actually a jewelry presentation box.. and again, based upon natural materials. I am excited to see it mounted on the wall! I bought the frame at Goodwill for $2.99, sanded it so it looks antique, etched jewelry images, and stained it with coffee.
Class have been going well. It’s the last weeks of class, so everything is calm yet bustling! Everyone wants to finish up on their final projects and get it all over with! That includes me.
Here is an update on my drawing & comp. final project. I stayed up until 2/3AM doing this.. about 45% done, ya? It’s so messy & dries my hand!
Friday evening, after classes, Caro, Chris, his friend, and I decided to go to Souplantation for some yummy salads and soups. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM.. I wish Canada had something like this! I would much rather go to an all you can eat salad and soup than AYCE fried food and burgers shit.

AHH!!! I’ve been uber duber busy!!!.. with school, of course.
I’ll blog about what’s been happening the last week.
Thursday, 15th
There was a screening of The Cove at the Custom Hotel (beside my apt), arranged by Otis. If you don’t know what it’s about, it’s basically about dolphin hunting and selling in Taiji, Japan. It’s an awfully sad documentary, but raises awareness about the issue. For more information, click here. I would recommend it to anyone that’s truly interested in these issues.
The set up was actually quite cozy — at the beginning. Caroline and I decided to bring blankets, as it was outside. When night fell, I was freezing my ass off. Because the area is near the waters AND the airport, the temperature is always slightly cooler than inland.Saturday 17th
Saturday was interesting. I unwillingly ended up at the beach with Caroline. It’s a long story and one that shouldn’t be uttered much about. In the end my back got burnt. I don’t understand why people want to go sun tanning so much though..! It’s gross!
That night, we also planned out our road trip and booked our hotel in San Francisco. I’m super excited!! It’s going to be amazing. The weekend wasn’t all that interesting, because everyone was at Coachella, an annual music festival in California. It attracts people all the way from New York.. and probably even further. Unfortunately.. I didn’t go because it’s $300, PLUS you have to camp out. However, I can almost bet it’s a blast.
That same evening, I worked on my drawing and comp final project — It’s fricken huge.
Just imagine this dinky thumbnail on that huge thing. So I still have a little over a week left in L.A.. I‘m going to extremely miss it :(.. I honestly find myself much happier being here at school, as compared to back in Vancouver. Maybe there‘s just too many strings attached with going back.. but either way, I miss my friends and I need to go home sooner or later. I need to as well find a job over the summer !
