Of You and I
YES! NEW JEANS! I never understand why people buy $200 jeans, because my thrifty $30 jeans have lasted me years. For some reason, during the past week, I had a penchant for buying new jeans. It just felt like my old ones didn’t fit me nicely anymore. Maybe it’s because I threw them into the dryer for too long or too hot. I went to Marshalls to get jeans — It’s like Winners, but 10x better! 2 paris of skinny jeans for $30 :) I’m still getting use to skinny jeans, because I never really liked the tight feeling around my legs. O.O
During my jean hunt on Saturday, we also did our errand day trip. We planned on going to Los Angeles County Museum (LACM), but Caroline had come home late the night before so we had a late start to our trip, and we did not end up going — which is perfectly fine, as we had planned it for next weekend.
We began the afternoon at Home Depot, which was.. an odd place to go.. but it seems like Home Depot is a popular hangout for people on Saturdays, as it was extremely busy! We bought supplies for our Form and Space class — needle nose pliers, and chicken fencing wire.. It was really awkward carrying the chicken fencing. homeicon
After that we went to the Dollar Tree and Westfield Mall. Caroline and Theresa were both starving so the first place we went, in the mall, was to the food court. The mall had finished building and it was absolutely gorgeous! :)
I had packed an apple pear and onigiri with me for lunch so I was ready to go. hamburgericon
From there, we went to Target to find my Dear John book, but I didn’t end up buying it. Maybe later on :) and then we went to F21, where I hoped to find jeans, but to my dismay their jeans were not appealing what so ever.
After the mall, we went to Marshalls, then another mall/thingy named “Howard Hughes Centre”. The main attraction there is the gorgeous movie theatre “The Bridge”, but there are cute shops and so we walked around. It was an exterior mall.. so it became chilly as the night approached, especially when drinking a frap.
Howard Hughes is located right by the freeway.
