And for the briefest instant, it feels like we’re together again.”

I know, everyone’s probably getting annoyed at how much I talk about Dear John. I nagged my roommates probably a billion times about wanting to see this movie, the moment I saw the trailer. I can’t help but feel as if I have a deep connection with this story, every time I see the billboard on the freeway or hear about people talking about it.

I just finished reading the book. I knew I could have read the entire book in one sitting, but I wanted it to last. I didn’t want the book to end.. so I read it in single chapters. Unfortunately, I just finished reading the last chapters, unable to hold back.

This story is so.. bittersweet. I know that to some readers, it may be insignificant.. to others it may be a piece of shit.. but to me, it’s important, maybe because I can relate to it in some forms.

Not only is it a love story between a man and a woman, but about father and son. It’s about unconditional love.

Now.. I am ready to watch the movie.
