Achieve.
It’s been a really long week! I’m so excited to go home for spring break! :)
.. and I’m suppose to be writing my essay right now so I don’t have to do it over my break, but I just got up from a really nice nap, and I’m pulling a lazy.
On Saturday, Caroline and I spent our day in Chinatown.. it was supposedly Lunar festival or w/e, but I was pretty certain they were a week behind on that. The event was meant for the evening, but the flyer said it began at 12PM… erm, so we made our way there in the morning. And when we got there, nothing was happening, so we just shopped around Chinatown.
We ended up choosing a random restaurant because I wanted Caroline to try dim sum.. since she never had. The food was o-kay, but definitely cannot compare to dim sum in Vancouver! However, it was quite cheap — though the price matched the size. $2 for small, $3 for med, etc.
We ended up going to the fabric district / near Santee alley, because we had to pick up some stuff. It’s like the permanent night market. Cheap stuff, both ways — cheap quality, cheap price haha :D
and finally, some art.
