It’s been a really long week! I’m so excited to go home for spring break! :)

.. and I’m sup­pose to be writ­ing my essay right now so I don’t have to do it over my break, but I just got up from a really nice nap, and I’m pulling a lazy.

On Sat­ur­day, Car­o­line and I spent our day in Chi­na­town.. it was sup­pos­edly Lunar fes­ti­val or w/e, but I was pretty cer­tain they were a week behind on that. The event was meant for the evening, but the flyer said it began at 12PM… erm, so we made our way there in the morn­ing. And when we got there, noth­ing was hap­pen­ing, so we just shopped around Chinatown.

We ended up choos­ing a ran­dom restau­rant because I wanted Car­o­line to try  dim sum.. since she never had. The food was o-kay, but def­i­nitely can­not com­pare to dim sum in Van­cou­ver! How­ever, it was quite cheap — though the price matched the size. $2 for small, $3 for med, etc.

We ended up going to the fab­ric dis­trict / near San­tee alley, because we had to pick up some stuff. It’s like the per­ma­nent night mar­ket. Cheap stuff, both ways — cheap qual­ity, cheap price haha :D
